Tatler friends enjoyed an evening of good food at Beta KL
On April 6, La Mer hosted a special Ramadan event attended by a group of incredible women from the Tatler community, including Yasmin Rasyid, Surina Shukri, and recent Front and Female Awards 2023 winner, Suriani Kempe. The intimate gathering at Beta KL was specially curated to give these women to an unforgettable experience.

Upon arrival, they were invited to relax and unwind ahead of the meal with a pampering session, where they were treated to a hand massage and given the opportunity to speak with a La Mer expert to discover the luxury skincare brand's most iconic products, including The Concentrate Serum, The Treatment Lotion, and its recently reformulated Moisturizing Soft Cream.

When it was time to break fast, our guests found an exclusive menu, specially curated by Beta KL's head chef, Raymond Tham. He paid tribute to La Mer's origin story, which began when its founder Dr Max Huber harnessed the healing power of the giant sea kelp to create the brand's signature Miracle Broth, by incorporating elements of the sea, from fresh oysters and marinated sea kelp to perfectly cooked fish as its show-stealing main.

After enjoying the hearty, wholesome meal, guests spent the evening chatting and laughing, surrounded by elegant white tulips, lilies roses and peonies and beautiful decor. They were also gifted watercolour portraits, hand-painted by local artists in real time, to take home as a souvenir to remember this unforgettable night.
