An evening of scent, craftsmanship, and celebration unfolded at Guerlain’s Ultimate Boutique at Ion Orchard, where Tatler Singapore guests discovered the maison’s latest olfactory and beauty creations through guided experiences in fragrance and makeup
Since its founding in 1828, Guerlain has defined beauty through craftsmanship, emotion, and care. This legacy came to life at the Maison’s Ultimate Boutique at Ion Orchard on October 23, where Tatler Singapore guests were immersed in an evening devoted to the art of gifting. From rare fragrances and radiant makeup looks to festive moments of discovery, the experience paid tribute to Guerlain’s timeless artistry and to the joy of giving made beautiful.
The evening began with an introduction to the maison by Tatler Singapore features editor Nafeesa Saini, followed by Pema Han, brand general manager for Singapore and Malaysia, who shared insights into Guerlain’s rich heritage. Novianty Chai, marketing manager for Singapore and Malaysia, then guided guests through the immersive journey they were about to embark on.

Guests were divided into two groups to embark on parallel sensorial journeys that reflected Guerlain’s heritage of craftsmanship and storytelling.
The first group began their experience with a fragrance discovery session led by fragrance expert Kai Ming, who introduced Guerlain’s Exceptional Rendezvous creations, which are fondly regarded as the high jewellery of fragrance. At its heart lies the Bee Bottle, a timeless emblem of the Maison since 1853, reimagined in limited, numbered editions that unite artistry with rarity. Guests were invited to discover a festive and highly exclusive interpretation of Imagine, a scent born of emotion and imagination, encapsulating the Maison’s spirit of craftsmanship and creativity.
The discovery continued with an introduction to Les Extraits, four remarkable interpretations that serve as a gateway to Guerlain’s most iconic fragrances; each one an expression of the Maison’s mastery of perfumery. Guests were also invited to explore L’Art & La Matière, a collection that celebrates the beauty of raw materials and the creativity that transforms them into works of olfactory craftsmanship.

At the skincare and makeup discovery zone, beauty expert Justina demonstrated how effortless radiance can be achieved with Guerlain’s signature glow-enhancing products, like the Météorites Light-revealing pearls of powder. Guests observed as she layered delicate textures and subtle tones to reveal a finish that felt both ethereal and wearable, embodying the spirit of celebration that defines the season.
Following the demonstration, guests were invited to enjoy flash makeovers and personalised consultations, where they discovered Guerlain’s ritual of beauty, and explored the Holiday Advent 2025.
A highlight of the evening was the cocktail pairing experience, where guests sampled bespoke creations inspired by Guerlain’s olfactory universes of Woody, Floral, Ambery, and Fresh. Each drink was thoughtfully designed to mirror the depth and character of these scent families, complemented by delicate canapés that echoed the Maison’s artistry and refinement. Together, the pairings offered a multisensory expression of Guerlain’s world, where fragrance, flavour, and feeling intertwined in perfect harmony.
