Wasser was in town to introduce the newest addition to the L’Art & La Matière collection, Tobacco Honey
When it comes to fragrances, few names evoke luxury, elegance, and timelessness as effortlessly as Guerlain. Within the maison itself, L’Art & La Matière is regarded as the crowning jewel. The high perfumery collection is composed of olfactory masterpieces that have left an indelible mark on each Guerlain Perfumer’s memory.
In August, Guerlain introduced the latest addition to its beloved L'Art & La Matière Fragrance Collection—Tobacco Honey. This sensual new fragrance is a tribute to a mysterious, unsung ingredient of the perfumery world: tobacco.

Ideal for both men and women, the perfume contains top notes of honey, cloves and anise; middle notes of tobacco, vanilla, tonka and sesame; and powerful base notes that contain a blend of oud and sweet, creamy sandalwood.
To celebrate the launch and introduce the new fragrance, Guerlain conducted a masterclass jointly organised with Raffles City Prestige, where master perfumer Thierry Wasser—the nose behind many of the maison’s fragrant creations, including La Cologne du Parfumeur, La Petite Robe Noire, L’Homme Idéal and numerous new variations within the Aqua Allegoria and haute parfumerie collections.
Special guests from the Tatler Singapore community were invited to be a part of this masterclass and witness Wasser as he spoke about Guerlain’s history in fragrant creation, the art of wearing perfumes and more. Held at the Level 65 Lounge of Swissotel The Stamford, guests snacked on canapés and sipped on champagne while they listened and tried on various scents from the exquisite L'Art & La Matière Fragrance Collection.
