Fascinated by reflective surfaces, Verner Panton (@vernerpantonofficial) explored their expressive potential throughout his career. For the Panton Chair, he envisioned a mirrored finish that would accentuate the sinuous curves of his now-iconic design. 50 years later, Vitra (@vitra) brings that long-held vision to life with the Panton Chair Classic Gold. Limited to 999 pieces, the edition reimagines the chair’s fluid silhouette in a warm, reflective gold, made possible by advances in coating technology that were unavailable to Panton in his time. First presented to the public at the 1968 IMM Cologne furniture fair, Vitra will present the U.S debut of the Panton Chair Classic Gold at Salon Art + Design (@thesalonny) in New York, taking place from November 4 to 8, 2026. When music producer and entrepreneur Dr Dre acquired the sprawling Los Angeles estate that previously belonged to supermodel Gisele Bündchen and her then-husband, NFL legend Tom Brady, he recognised the qualities that made the home distinctive. With its mansard roof, copper finials and zinc cupolas, the residence embodies the grandeur of a French château. Despite the formal architectural language, the home tempers its classical grandeur with the relaxed sensibilities of California living. However, the new homeowner envisioned a residence that could accommodate his professional pursuits, personal interests and family life. Thus, Landry Design Group (LDG) (@landrydesigngroup)—which designed the property for its original owners—returned to rework the interiors and expand the residence to suit his lifestyle and family’s needs. Reimagining the bathroom as a personal sanctuary, @grohesingapore brought its latest collections from Milan Design Week 2026 to Southeast Asia for one immersive evening at Nai Lert Park in Bangkok. Through three experiential sanctums, the brand explored the relationship between water, design and wellbeing, bringing together architects, interior designers, developers and media for a conversation on the future of luxury, complemented by a dinner by École Ducasse. The result was an intimate exploration of how thoughtful design can transform everyday rituals into moments of restoration. In a property market often driven by scale and speed, @jeanyip.developments takes a more considered approach to building. Since its founding in 2002, the property arm of the Jean Yip Group has grown from managing commercial assets in Singapore to developing residences across multiple countries, guided by a philosophy of building homes to be kept and lived in rather than sold. By remaining the landlord long after completion, the company places lasting value at the heart of its approach, shaping everything from material choices to spatial planning. The recently launched Eden Taman Duta (@brdb.eden) sits on 12.25 acres in Taman Duta that BRDB has owned since 1997. For a land the company has held for decades before committing to a design, co-deputy CEO Yasmin Khan is careful about how she frames that gap, and how “the question was never when to build, but what this place genuinely warranted.” Link in bio for the full story. Co-deputy CEO of BRDB Yasmin Khan is wary of the phrase resort living, given how loosely the property industry tends to use it. Eden Taman Duta (@brdb.eden) is built from specific, repeated decisions rather than a marketing line. In that account, in that account, the home “stops being a backdrop to life and becomes something far more restorative, a place one genuinely looks forward to returning to.” Link in bio for the full story. What happens when everything else is left unfinished, and the light is allowed to do the talking? At @solluminaire’s refurbished Guillemard Road showroom, its in-house architectural lighting brand Aeon makes a case for lighting as more than the final detail. Set against raw concrete, scaffolding, and exposed wiring, the deliberately unfinished space becomes a canvas for light to shape and transform. Conceptualised for the needs of the region, Aeon combines considered design with best-in-class technology, including COB LEDs, tunable white, and dim-to-warm colour temperatures. With high CRI, higher lumens per watt, and built-in dimming and smart compatibility, the collection is designed for spaces of every scale, from hospitality venues and Good Class Bungalows to retail environments and two-room apartments.
