The launch event last month was officiated by YB Liew Chin Tong, Deputy Minister of Investment, Trade and Industry; and witnessed by Dato' Omar Siddiq, CEO, HSBC Bank Malaysia; and Linda Yip, Country Head of International Wealth and Premier Banking, HSBC Bank Malaysia.

The Wealth Centre has been designed as a private and exclusive space for high-net-worth individuals to access bespoke financial solutions. A highlight of the new Wealth Centre is an extraordinary art installation by acclaimed Malaysian artist Red Hong Yi, who was also in attendance at the launch ceremony on Wednesday. Titled Red and Gold, the expansive installation features over 11,811 20-sen coins dipped in red and gold hues, intricately arranged to depict Malaysia’s national flower, the golden hibiscus.
This masterpiece celebrates HSBC’s 140-year legacy in Malaysia and embodies the transformative journey of building wealth—turning ordinary resources into something extraordinary.
