One leg of their initiative is called Dine for the Planet, a fundraising group led by familiar industry players committed to advocating for sustainable food production. Cibo, Lemoni Cafe, Dinibeach Bar & Restaurant, and Kaulayaw Coffee are among those spearheading the initiative, along with Katsu House, and Konbini.

Sarah La'Brooy, the owner of both Lemoni Cafe and DiniBeach Bar and Restaurant, expresses her sentiments, saying, "We have always been environmentally conscious. We strive to run our businesses sustainably, environmentally friendly, and raise environmental awareness within our companies and all of our staff. We try to buy and use as much local produce as possible by supporting local farmers and fishermen who practice good environmental standards."

But foodies aren't the only ones passionate about helping. Gamers have also stepped up to fundraise for this noble cause. Rumble Royale, one of the largest talent and marketing agencies online, has also pledged to partner with WWF Philippines for fundraising. They've already held live streams for audiences to participate in virtual donation drives.

"We forget how much we depend on nature," gamer and creator Yuka Kuroyanagi says. "We must [take action] now and put into practice whatever we can to save our planet and not take everything for granted so that there can still be real hope for the future."

Gaming video creator Jay Perillo also notes the need for small but steady change, saying, "Even the tiniest move you make to help make the world a better place counts. Collect all those small efforts, and it will surely become a big thing."
