Here’s what you missed: The Hong Kong Fullerton Ocean Park hosted its first charity dinner since its opening in July. Guests in attendance had the pleasure of welcoming the new Miss Hong Kong, Denice Lam, who was full of beans after her win on September 25. The win marked the 50th anniversary of Miss Hong Kong, the annual pageant at which Lam beat 19 other participants to nab the top prize. HK$2.1 million was raised in the room on October 6, with the money going to a range of The Community Chest of Hong Kong’s efforts, including education for the underprivileged.
