Singapore, Japan and South Korea are in the top ten, while Hong Kong is 18th on the list of world’s most powerful passports
The Henley Passport Index has released its list of the world’s most powerful passports in 2025, and Singapore tops it with its passport holders enjoying visa-free access to 195 out of 227 destinations around the world. Japan is at second with visa-free access granted to 193 destinations. South Korea, at number three, and UAE, at number ten, are the only other countries in Asia to make it to the top ten.
Meanwhile, Hong Kong has secured the 18th position. China is at 60th, experiencing a big climb from 94th on the list in 2015.
