Hyatt Hotels is set to make a grand return to Malaysia’s capital with the opening of Hyatt Regency Kuala Lumpur at KL Midtown on August 26, 2025. Poised to be a new landmark in the city’s evolving landscape, the five-star property is designed to redefine the hospitality experience in the heart of KL’s latest business and lifestyle precinct.

The hotel is strategically located at 7 Jalan Dutamas 2, directly opposite MITEC and near MATRADE, placing the hotel at the centre of the city's growing convention and events district. This marks the seventh Hyatt property in Kuala Lumpur and the highly anticipated reintroduction of the Hyatt Regency brand to the city.
Till Martin, Hyatt Regency Kuala Lumpur General Manager, said that they're delighted that the hotel is on track to open this August, with preparations progressing smoothly and that they look forward to welcoming their guests.
