The property has reopened its doors following extensive renovations in 2022. The first phase of the hotel’s transformation, the reimagined property offers tranquil spaces that blend luxury with sustainability. While the entire hotel officially opens in 2025, the first phase sees the unveiling of its nature-inspired Terrace Wing, fitness centre and iconic restaurants Pete’s Place and StraitsKitchen, among others.

2. The Standard, Singapore

Nestled along Orange Grove Road, the hottest new hotel to grace our shores is conveniently located near the 150-year-old Botanic Gardens, Singapore’s first Unesco World Heritage Site, and the Orchard Road shopping belt. Apart from its location, the upcoming hotel also boasts 143 rooms and suites, unique dining concepts, a pool bar and more. The Garden is one of our favourite parts of the property, featuring lush landscaping and hidden nooks perfect for relaxing. Be sure to keep a lookout for a variety of art pieces curated by the hotel and displayed within the garden.

3. Conrad Singapore Orchard

Located in the heart of Orchard Road, the hotel is surrounded by lush greenery and offers a blend of nature’s serenity and urban vibrancy—a perfect getaway for tourists and locals looking for a respite from the city’s hustle and bustle. Like the rest of the guest rooms and suites in the hotel, the botanical-inspired Conrad Suite features serene hues and natural tones in sand, cream and muted greens. The room is also accented with plant motifs, potted tropical trees and prints by Singaporean artists. Upon stepping in, the suite’s warm design and atmosphere made us feel instantly at ease and relaxed.

4. The Paiza Collection at Marina Bay Sands

Luxury knows no boundaries with the ongoing transformation of Marina Bay Sands hotel, which now boasts The Paiza Collection, a curated collection of ultra-luxurious residential-style suites located on the highest floors of the hotel. The Paiza Collection can be regarded as the creme de la creme of the hotel’s rooms. These ultra-luxurious residential-style suites are located on the top floors of the hotel, reserved for MBS’s most distinguished guests.
5. Mandarin Oriental Singapore

After six months of closure, the grand hotel has finally reopened with an extensive transformation led by principal designer Jeffrey Wilkes of Designwilkes, the same creative who dreamed up the interiors of Mandarin Oriental Bangkok, Mandarin Oriental Hong Kong and The Taj Mahal Palace, Mumbai. Rooms take cues from various scenes outside their windows. For example, Marina Bay-facing rooms are dressed in batik-inspired patterns and a cool colour palette that complements the Marina Bay waters; while rooms facing the South China Sea have warm tones reminiscent of the morning sun.

6. Artyzen Singapore

Situated within walking distance of the Singapore Botanic Gardens and the Orchard Road shopping belt, the hotel is a striking tower of lush greenery that provides a slice of tranquillity in one of our city’s busiest districts. For an unbeatable view, head to The Roof Garden on the hotel’s top floor. Sip on signature cocktails and enjoy savoury small plates with a Sino-Portuguese twist at the on-site bar, while admiring the 25-metre cantilevered infinity pool with a partially transparent base. A sunken lounge area completes the luxurious space, where you can recline with sprawling views of the city.
