Can’t get enough of Labubu? You’re not alone. Here are some of the local personalities and friends of Tatler who caught the Labubu fever

The first time I came across a Labubu doll whilst scrolling on social media, I thought “Oh, cute,” and simply went about my day. I had no idea what it was and I didn’t think much of it. Little did I know, in the next few weeks that followed, this furry little creature would start popping up everywhere. Everyone and their mother had it, multiple even, and I was still completely clueless. So, I finally caved and did some digging.

These collectible dolls are incredibly sought-after and come in a plethora of colours, shapes, and sizes, with some limited-edition releases fetching thousands of dollars—and they fly off the shelves in a heartbeat, snatched up by collectors and die-hard fans alike, including the likes of Blackpink’s Lisa and Rosé. And it wasn’t long before Malaysian celebrities and members of the Tatler community joined the club as well.
