These fluffy toys continue to take the world by storm—here’s how these celebrities are styling the latest must-have Labubu collectables
It’s been months since we saw Blackpink’s Lisa posing with her latest Labubu collectable, yet the hunt for these mischievous-looking dolls continues stronger than ever.
For the uninitiated, these Labubu dolls were created in 2015 by Hong Kong-born artist Kasing Lung and were inspired by Nordic fairy tales. Known for its pointy ears and impish smile, the furry elf character has since surged in popularity, with many local personalities and celebrities around Southeast Asia on a massive search for this blind box collection.
While these dolls are available for purchase on the official Pop Mart website, there is heavy competition when it comes to getting your hands on just one doll. Pop Mart International’s head of strategic partnerships Kevin Zhang tells Tatler in an interview that these dolls sell out “very fast”.
Fortunately for us, he explains that the brand will “supply more stocks to meet such high demands” so eager customers can be assured that there is more to come.
This viral toy figurine has undoubtedly become a trend—in fact, brands have begun including these dolls in their latest campaigns.
For one, back in 2024, multi-currency travel wallet YouTrip announced a limited-edition ‘explorer outfit’ with the brand logo on it as part of a giveaway to consumers. Even local personalities are jumping on the bandwagon. Branch chairman of People’s Action Party (PAP) Sengkang West branch Lam Pin Min has also showed off a doll dressed in an adorable PAP fit last year.
Below, here’s a look at Singapore personalities and members of our Tatler community who are known fans of this popular character and have built their own collections.

And I bought only the ones with their eyes open; brown and pink ones especially, because that colour heals my inner child.”
