Some of our guests for Tatler Ball 2023 got a chance to indulge in the opulence and luxury of the BMW i7

As a partner for the 2023 Tatler Ball in Malaysia, BMW Malaysia offered to chauffeur some of our guests to the event location—the St Regis Kuala Lumpur, allowing them to experience all the comforts and technological advancements of the luxurious BMW i7 sedan.

Boasting a driving range of over 600 kilometres, the all-electric BMW i7 represents BMW's new design language—termed Forwardism, for the luxury class. And as spacious and luxurious as it may be, it packs 544 horsepower and 795Nm of torque, which translates to the full-sized sedan completing the century sprint in under 5 seconds. An amazing feat considering the size of the vehicle.

A standout feature that's sure to turn heads, especially at night, is the split BMW iconic glow crystal headlights and the strikingly illuminated kidney grille frame, which establishes the distinct presence of the luxury sedan, complemented by first-class equipment and a sophisticated ambiance.

Apart from the guests who got to experience the magnificent ride, there was also a BMW i7 unit placed inside the grand ballroom of The St Regis KL, for other guests to get up close with and be enthralled with.

A number of guests either took photos with or of the sedan over the course of the night; unsurprisingly, most wanted to capture the dynamic large format, lit-up grille of the vehicle. Some guests even tried to open the show unit's doors, to get a better look at the car's luxe interiors. But only a lucky few managed to experience the amazing and comfortable interiors. Among them, Datin Carla Soong commented that the BMW i7 “has a very modern and futuristic exterior, and the interiors perfectly complement what's on the outside, equally elegant and high tech as well.”

Then we also spotted Dato’ Sri Jeffrey Raymond checking out the BMW i7 display unit, despite already owning one. Going up to him, he shared that the colour of the model in the ballroom looked exciting too, and he complimented the function and durability of the one he owns.
