Here’s what you missed at Tatler Ball 2025 in Malaysia in November
One of the most anticipated black tie events of the year-end social calendar, this year’s Tatler Ball in Malaysia was a night dedicated to charity and community, celebrating the trailblazers, change-makers and powerhouses among us who are at the top of their game in their respective industries.

Proudly sponsored by Cortina Watch Malaysia, Getha, YSL Beauty, KPJ Healthcare, Moët Hennessy, The St. Regis Kuala Lumpur, and Royal Selangor, Tatler Ball saw over 400 guests dressed impeccably to the theme of ‘Nusantara’, a sophisticated nod to the rich sartorial heritage of the Malay Archipelago.
Dressed to the nines, our guests arrived at the Grand Ballroom of The St. Regis Kuala Lumpur to be greeted with Hennessy VSOP and Hennessy XO welcome drinks from our Moët Hennessy counter at the main foyer. The tipples continued inside the ballroom, where guests savoured cocktails at the Belvedere and Hennessy booths.
The evening started off on a delicious note thanks to an array of exquisite, Nusantara-inspired canapes prepared by the culinary geniuses at The St. Regis Kuala Lumpur. Dinner was served in the ballroom, comprising a mouth-watering three-course menu curated by The St. Regis Kuala Lumpur’s executive chef, Norazizi Taslim and his team. The menu was paired with Terrazas Reserva Chardonnay, Reserva Malbec and Reserva Cabernet Sauvignon, in addition to a generous flow of Moët and Whispering Angel to accompany the appetisers served that evening.

Our guests didn’t miss the chance to snap photos at the stunning Cortina Watch photowall, where an ornate floral display was the backdrop of a free-flow of framed polaroid photos which guests could collect and take home at the end of the evening.
Upping the olfactory ante for the night was YSL Beauty, with its own dedicated booth showcasing the alluring MUSE Eau de Parfum in all its woody musky, floral and vanilla notes.

Meanwhile, in another corner of the foyer, a cosy setup by Getha Malaysia featured the latest king-sized Transforme Miracle Latex Mattress with its groundbreaking Graphite+ technology. Complete with lampshades and pillows adorned with Tatler logos, the Getha photowall provided the perfect backdrop for several playful photo moments from guests.
At the end of the night, the fun-loving crowd got to take home a Getha Latex Pillow and 3D Auto Latex Pillow in their door gift, along with vouchers worth RM500 and more from Damasara Specialist Hospital 2 and Ampang Puteri Specialist Hospital, thanks to KPJ Healthcare.

The evening came to its highlight with the presentation of the Tatler Impact Awards 2025. First up was Malaysia’s music icon Dato’ Sheila Majid, who took to the stage to receive Tatler’s Impact Award for Culture, surprising the crowd with a performance that had everyone on their feet. Taylor’s University’s Professor Dr Chong Pei Pei was then honoured with the Tatler Innovation Award for her contributions to women’s health, and entrepreneur Bryan Loo took home the Tatler Impact Award for Business. Last but not least, the Tatler Impact Award for Humanity was given to YB Gobind Singh Deo, whose wife Sangeeta Sidhu received the award on his behalf.
As a memorable token to celebrate their inspiring achievements, our Tatler Impact awardees were presented with a custom Royal Selangor trophy, a YSL Beauty MUSE Eau de Parfum fragrance and two pairs of Getha Lux Suite Aurum TRX Tickets.
