Blackpink’s Lisa releases exclusive “Money” performance video on Youtube
Blackpink Lisa's solo title song Lalisa successfully debuted at No.84 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, the famous weekly ranking of the most popular tracks in the United States. The wildly popular artist has also set a record for the fastest K-pop female solo music video to reach 200 million views on YouTube.
This week, which is also Lisa’s second week of promotions, she continues to impress fans with her outstanding dance skills in a new performance video for Money—the B-side track from her single album. YG Entertainment shared the video on Thursday night (September 23), where Lisa is seen in cool, powerful looks surrounded by dancers in visually striking settings as she raps and sings about her riches.
Speaking of the song, Lisa said: “I heard Money first and told Teddy [Teddy Park, the major producer for Blackpink’s songs], ‘Oh my God, Teddy oppa, I have to do this song, I want this to be my solo song.’ And he was like, ‘OK, let’s do it!’ [...] It’s a very addictive hip-hop song that everyone can enjoy. I worked on it, very excitingly. The rap was so fun.”
