Get ready: Marquee Singapore is about to host its biggest party yet with the K-pop star as well as DJ Fvder, Dharni, Boytoy and singers Laurie and Xenzu

Consider your Saturday night plans sorted: K-pop superstar Jackson Wang will be taking over Marquee Singapore to throw a party on August 6.

The party, which is titled Team Wang Records (Human Remix), will feature a thrilling showcase of the finest up-and-coming talents in the music business. It will be the first party to be held at Marquee Singapore with an international celebrity in attendance since the nightclub’s opening in Marina Bay Sands in 2019.

The showcase also marks Wang’s second Human Remix event, which he holds annually with a selected partner so that artists from different fields across the country can gather, collaborate and inspire each other as they make music.

This year, Wang will be joined by Marquee’s resident DJ Fvder, world-renowned beatboxer Dharni, Wang’s longtime collaborator and music producer Boytoy, as well as singers Laurie and Xenzu.

DJ Fvder is well known for his high-energy sets that fuse diverse genres into one concoction. Dharni, on the other hand, has been lauded as one of Singapore’s most prominent musical exports in the last decade. Currently based in Poland, Dharni is a veteran of the beatboxing realm and has performed with famous musicians such as Kanye West and Mariah Carey in the past.

Boytoy will join both Fvder and Dharni at the decks while up-and-coming singers Xenzu and Laurie, who have performed on Chinese television channel Zhejiang TV’s New Year Countdown Concert, will be performing hit songs at the party.

This will be Wang’s first visit to Singapore since 2018 when he visited as part of the K-pop boy band Got7’s tour.

Tickets are priced from SG$60 and SG$80 for general admission for women and men respectively; prices go up to SG$200 for priority entry. You can get your hands on the tickets when they go on sale here, as well as at the door on the date of the event. Guests are also encouraged to dress in black for the party.
