With some of the biggest names in the music industry gracing our stage this year, Formula 1’s return to Singapore is set to be the biggest party weekend yet

The Singapore Formula 1 Grand Prix is officially back on track after the contract for Singapore to host the race was renewed for another seven years and we are gearing up for the Marina Bay Street Circuit which will be happening from September 30 to October 2.

However, what everyone has been clamouring to know is who will be performing at this year’s race and now, we finally have the first entertainment lineup.

The Headliners

This first announcement of Padang Stage acts will feature electronic dance music artist Marshmello, boy band Westlife and punk rock band Green Day (talk about nostalgia).

The three acts are part of a lineup of over 75 performances which will take place over the three-day event across eight stages in the Circuit Park. There will also be roaming performers and an array of displays and activities for the crowds. Truly, Formula 1 is back and bigger than ever.

Grammy-nominated Marshmello, who has chart-topping singles and collaborations with big names including Juice Wrld, Halsey, Demi Lovato, Bastille and more, will be performing on September 30.

On October 1, one of the most successful boy bands of all time, Westlife, will take the stage. The Irish band will hold The Wild Dreams Tour at the Padang Stage in Zone 4.

American hip-hop group Black Eyed Peas will also be making an exclusive stop in Singapore as part of its tour. Members will.i.am, apl.de.ap, Taboo, as well as J. Rey Sou will perform at the Padang Stage on October 1, and again on the Wharf Stage in Zone 1 on October 2.

Grammy Award-winning R&B group TLC has also been added to the line-up, and is set to perform their hits like Waterfalls and No Scrubs at the Wharf Stage on October 1. Britpop band Suede will also be playing on the same day at the same stage.

Finally, to end an entire weekend of partying, rising Australian rapper and singer The Kid Laroi will hit the Padang Stage on October 2. There, the Gen Z artist and Justin Bieber collaborator will perform his chart-topping singles like Stay and Thousand Miles.

Legendary American punk group Green Day will take to the stage to close out the event. Made up of Billie Joe Armstrong, bassist Mike Dirnt, and drummer Tré Cool, Green Day is one of the world’s best-selling bands of all time, with more than 70 million records sold worldwide and over 10 billion streams.
