Now that the F1 2022 Silly Season is over, the tracks are all set for 2022, here are updates on teams and line ups for the upcoming grand prix:

AlphaTauri-Red Bull: Pierre Gasly and Yuki Tsunoda

The AlphaTauri-Red Bull has always been keen on making the youth take the wheel, the team has become the proving ground for some of the modern greats in F1 including the renowned Max Verstappen and plenty of other names that have been bandied around for 2022.

The team's principal, Franz Tost, already made it clear that Pierre Gasly and Yuki Tsunoda are competing for the next race. In an interview, he explained that he sees "no other alternatives" for both Gasly and Tsunoda.

"Yeah, I hope so, because I don’t see any other driver there," Tost said. "I hope we will also next year be with Pierre and with Yuki because for Yuki, then it will be the second season and he knows now the tracks.

McLaren-Mercedes: Daniel Ricciardo and Lando Norris

If we talk about F1 experience, Daniel Ricciardo is probably one of the most senior drivers at McLaren, having raced more than 200 times compared to Lando Norris' 51. However, the latter has spent more time with the McLaren and is miles ahead of his teammate in the World Drivers' Championship.

Ricciardo signed a multi-year deal upon entering McLaren from Renault. Norris, on the other hand, signed a new deal which keeps him at McLaren until 2023.

Mercedes-AMG: Lewis Hamilton and George Russell

Lewis Hamilton has signed a new two-year contract with the Mercedes-AMG, the Finn national will be with the anointed George Russell who was earlier contracted to Mercedes. The promotion of the latter came the day after Bottas' move to Alfa Romeo.

Red Bull Racing: Max Verstappen and Sergio Pérez

For 2022, Max Verstappen is racing with Mexican Sergio "Checo" Pérez, whose performances at Racing Point made him an unusual choice for Red Bull as it typically prefers promoting from within. In this case, however, the latter offered a large sponsorship package that was good enough to earn him a one-year deal.

The Thai-British national hopes to bounce back from the "disappointment" of being dropped by Red Bull in 2020.
