The new powerful duo from the Mercedes-AMG range is made for drivers who are looking for something sporty yet elegant.
Mercedes-Benz has updated its AMG compact car range with two models: the A 45 S 4MATIC+ and the CLA 45 S 4MATIC+.
The new A 45 S 4MATIC+ replaces the Mercedes-AMG A 45 S 4MATIC+ Edition 1 from last year. It features a strikingly sporty design with a distinctive AMG grille, radiator trim and bonnet with power domes. This is complemented by the AMG high performance brake system with red-painted brake calipers coupled with black AMG lettering.

It's worth noting that the A 45 S 4MATIC+ rides on 19-inch AMG 5-twin-spoke light-alloy wheels that are aerodynamically optimised and painted in matt black. The most notable difference in the interior between this model and the Edition 1 are the red accents on the AMG Performance seats and seat belts instead of yellow.

Now let's turn our attention to the CLA 45 S 4 MATIC+. This coupé is characterised by its signature AMG radiator trim and a distinctive front apron with a AMG-specific radiator trim that brings out its sporty side. Around the back the AMG rear apron has a diffuser and AMG spoiler lip on the boot lid. It also sports 19-inch AMG cross-spoke forged wheels and a full AMG body kit with a Panamericana grille.
The most notable addition to the vehicle is the inclusion of a heads up display that projects essential information on the windshield. Besides that, it also gets rear side airbags like its sibling.

Just how fast can they go? The A 45 S 4MATIC+ requires only 3.9 seconds to sprint from zero to 100km/h while the CLA 45 S 4MATIC+ is marginally slower at 4.0 seconds to complete the century sprint.
