Abby (Kat Graham) inherits an antique holiday advent calendar from her grandfather, which has a magical power that predicts the future—including a budding romance.
8. Klaus (2019)
A new twist on the original Santa Claus story from the co-creator of Despicable Me, Klaus tells the story of the world’s worst postman, who is posted to the frozen island above the Arctic Circle, where he meets a new friend named Klaus.
9. Let It Snow (2019)

A new story in the Cinderella Story movies, Christmas Wish follows an aspiring singer who’s been stalled on the path to success by her stepmother and two wicked stepsisters. In order to make her dreams come true, she starts working and eventually starts falling for the handsome new Santa in town.
13. Just Another Christmas (2020)
Jorge suffers a nasty fall during Christmas Eve and when he wakes up a year later, he realises that he has no memory of the past year. What’s more, he’s actually doomed to keep waking up on Christmas Eve after Christmas Eve. In order to stop the repetitive cycle, he must deal with the aftermath of what his past self has done the other 364 days of the year.
14. Holidate (2020)
This 2020 film follows two single people who are fed up with being alone on the holidays. They agreed to be each other’s platonic date for the festive season, only to end up catching real feelings along the way.

15. Love Hard (2021)
Natalie has always had bad luck when it comes to dating. All that changes when she meets Josh online. Believing him to be ‘The One’, Natalie travels to his hometown to surprise him for Christmas only to discover that she’s been catfished. Will she give love another chance?
16. David and the Elves (2021)
A feel-good movie about friendship, David and the Elves revolves around David who’s upset that his parents moved to the big city and have forgotten about Christmas. On his own, he meets the elf Albert and the two go on a journey to look for David’s grandparents—who understands the meaning of Christmas.
17. Grumpy Christmas (2021)
This Mexican family drama is a must-watch this Christmas. A relaxing and carefree family trip to the beach goes out of hand when family members start an over-the-top competition to control Christmas.
18. Single All the Way (2021)
This is the perfect Christmas movie for all the singles out there. Single All the Way centres around Peter, who’s desperate to avoid his family’s judgement of him still being single. He tasks his best friend, Nick to pose as his boyfriend for the holidays. But as the classic ‘pretend-to-be-lovers’ stories go, it ends up becoming much more.
19. A Boy Called Christmas (2021)
A Boy Called Christmas is one of the most anticipated Christmas movies this year. Based on the eponymous book, the story follows a young boy called Nikolas who embarks on an adventure in search of his father who’s out on a quest to look for the fabled elf village, Elfhelm. With his reindeer Blitzen and a pet mouse as his companion, Nikolas soon meets who (or what) he’s actually looking for.

20. A Naija Christmas (2021)
A Naija Christmas is Netflix’s first Nigerian Christmas movie and it follows three sons, determined to carry out their mother’s one wish: to find wives they can bring home by Christmas. On the other hand, their mother sets out to plan the most memorable Christmas ever for her beloved sons.
