Best of Fujii Kaze 2020-2024 Asia Tour

What: One of Japan’s hottest names in the music scene, Fujii Kaze, is performing Hong Kong in early December. His first album Help Ever Hurt Never (2020), which conveyed a positive message of spreading kindness during the peak of the pandemic, reached number one on Billboard Japan’s Hot Album chart and won the country’s most prestigious awards such as the Grand Prize Blue of CD Shop Awards in 2021. Kaze was named YouTube Japan’s first Artist On the Rise and picked for Spotify’s global programme, Radar. He went on to perform in sold-out concerts in seven cities in Asia in 2023.
TedxTinHauWomen ‘In Motion’

Where: Xiqu Centre, West Kowloon Cultural District, Hong Kong
What: TEDxTinHau Women, the longest-standing TEDx event dedicated to women in Hong Kong, is returning this year for its eighth edition. The event, which will take place at the Xiqu Centre in West Kowloon on December 6, is promising to highlight some of Hong Kong’s unheard voices: those advancing gender equality, exploring new subjects, and more. M+ at Night: Festive Enchantment

What: Design vanguards and brothers Andrew (better known as Offgod) and Tate Mok have decided to gather Hong Kong’s cool kids for a one-of-a-kind garage sale. From their own products under Offgod:tate, to Nicole Law’s Fierce, illustrator Little Thunder drawing, street artist Lousy and Hong Kong streetwear brand Victoria: the Hong Kong creative community will all gather under Soho House’s roof on December 8.
2NE1 ‘Welcome back’ Asia tour
When: December 8, 2024
Where: Asia-World Expo
What: Iconic K-pop band 2NE1, led by CL, is getting back together for their first tour since their All or Nothing tour in 2014. Celebrating the girl band’s 15th anniversary, they’ll pass by Hong Kong in early December before heading to Bangkok. The tour will also cover Manila, Taipei, Singapore and Jakarta.

James Blunt ‘The Who We Used To Be’ tour

What: James Blunt is returning to Hong Kong on December 12. Get ready to sing You’re Beautiful (2004), Goodbye my Lover (2004) and other chart-toping songs from the bottom of your heart!
‘The Truth About Lying’ with Carina Lau and Dayo Wong
When: December 13, 2024 to February 2, 2025
Where: Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, Wan Chai, Hong Kong
What: Hong Kong’s theatre scene is abuzz with the news of award-winning film actor Carina Lau joining forces with pioneering standup comedian Dayo Wong in a play called The Truth about Lying, which is set to be performed at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts in Wan Chai from December 13. The playwright teases that Dayo Wong will have fewer dialogues in the play, which is uncommon in the comedian’s usual stage performances, while the audience will get to see Carina Lau in a vulnerable role.
AIA Carnival 2024
When: December 18, 2024 to February 16, 2025
Where: Central Harbourfront Event Space, Central, Hong Kong
What: Hong Kong’s much-loved outdoor AIA Carnival returns this winter for its tenth anniversary. The fair will occupy the Central Harbourfront Event Space for three months and will present all-new rides and live entertainment created especially for this milestone.
