Artist and designer Andrew Mok, better known as Offgod, rose to fame while still a teenager for the 3D printed sculptures that he creates with his brother, Tate. The duo specialise in headphone accessories that are impossible to ignore, showcasing an avant-garde sensibility and a spectacularly eclectic, often cartoonish, theatrical, sometimes surrealistic aesthetic. Unsurprisingly for such eye-catching work, he’s huge on Instagram, where he started his artistic journey as an illustrator, posting his sketches of his favourite YouTubers and musicians; he has more than 400,000 followers on the platform and counting.

His 2023 was a stellar one. He debuted his first clothing collection, a streetwear collaboration that included shoe accessories, sunglasses and jewellery, in partnership with Japanese-born, Hong Kong-owned brand A Bathing Ape for spring-summer 2024, at Men’s Fashion Week in Paris. He followed that up by launching his own clothing line, Bandage Boy. The same year, he also hosted his first solo art exhibition, Prosthetic Garden, at Harbour City, while he was also given an opportunity to appear in the music video for the song Cutie by rising Hong Kong singer songwriter Gareth T.

The artist has also quickly established himself as a firm favourite of celebrities. Also in 2023, he was invited to visit Apple Park, the Apple headquarters in California, and meet CEO Tim Cook; while other famous fans include Future, Takashi Murakami, who spontaneously professed himself a fan of the young artist’s work online, and Pharrell Williams, who Mok met when the superstar visited Hong Kong.
