Blackpink members Jennie, Lisa, Rose, and Jisoo have been working hard for their Blinks
Hot off celebrating their 8th anniversary in August, when Blackpink reunited for a very public celebration in Seoul with their fans, Jennie, Lisa, Rose, and Jisoo are now gearing up for more solo activities.
Each member has taken back autonomy of their solo endeavours–Jennie with her label OA (Odd Atelier), Lisa with her company LLOUD, Jisoo with her agency Blissoo, and Rose has inked a deal with Atlantic Records for her global activities.

While the global superstars are not expected to return as a full group with a comeback and a highly anticipated world tour in 2025, the members have been busy with individual projects. Here, we take a look at what we can expect from the Blackpink members in the near future.
Jennie

In June, Jennie made her catwalk debut when she closed out Jacquemus’ 15th-anniversary runway show in Capri, Italy. The Chanel global ambassador has also been making headlines in the fashion industry, designing a capsule collection for Calvin Klein in 2023 and taking the Met Gala by storm this year wearing a striking blue Alaïa dress by Pieter Mulier.

On October 10, 2024, Jennie will release her upcoming single, Mantra, her first solo release since her special single You & Me in October last year.
Lisa
In September, Lisa made her solo debut at the 2024 MTV Video Music Awards, performing two of her latest releases, the major bop Rockstar, and New Woman which features Spanish singer Rosalía. The Thai singer-rapper recently released Moonlit Floor, her latest solo single which samples Sixpence None the Richer’s 1997 hit, Kiss Me.

On October 15, 2024, Lisa will headline the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show alongside an all-women lineup for the first time since the show’s inception. The event will also mark the historic return of the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show since staging its last show in 2018.
Rose
Blinks are in for a treat as Rose will finally be releasing her first full-length solo album, Rosie. Shortly after announcing her solo contract with Atlantic Records, the singer dropped an Instagram post to reveal a teaser of her new music. “I have poured my blood and tears into this album. I cannot wait for you to listen to this little journal of mine. Rosie is the name I allow my friends and family to call me. With this album, I hope you all feel that much closer to me,” she wrote in her Instagram post.

This will mark her first release in slightly more than three years after her single album, R. Unlike R, which consists of only two songs, Rosie will have 12 tracks. The album is scheduled for release on December 6, 2024.
Jisoo
While Jisoo is relatively quiet on the musical front compared to her members, she has been busy in the acting side of the entertainment industry. She’s currently filming the upcoming K-drama Monthly Boyfriend, which also stars singer-songwriter and actor Seo In-guk (She Was Pretty, Doom at Your Service).

The Blackpink member was also recently seen at a table read for upcoming Korean film Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint, which boasts a star-studded cast of Lee Min-ho (The King: Eternal Monarch, Pachinko), Ahn Hyo-seop (Lovers of the Red Sky, Business Proposal), Chae Soo-bin (Where Stars Land, The Fabulous), Nana (Mask Girl, My Man Is Cupid), and more.
