Drama! Glamour! Luxury properties! The most impressive homes in season 4 of Selling Sunset include a few striking properties that high-profile celebrities like Alesso, Selena Gomez and Tyra Banks once called home
Sprawling properties, high stakes, and lots of drama—the Oppenheim Group is once again welcoming us into their office with season four of Selling Sunset. The latest season of the reality show—or, as described rather accurately by Netflix, ‘docusoap’—is definitely rife with clashes and feuds, but it’s also filled with stunning multi-million dollar mansions.
Whether you’re Team Christine or Team Chrishell (or, Team Mary after the season finale), there’s no denying that the properties featured are impressive. Below, we highlight some of the real estate eye candy featured in this season.
A contemporary home with stunning views
The first property that the season opens with is founder Jason Oppenheim’s listing: a 6,300 sqft mansion that’s on the market for US$7,995,000. The contemporary five-bedroom home features a state-of-the-art modern kitchen, a master ensuite designed with wood accents and easy access to the balcony, as well as a sprawling lawn with a giant swimming pool.
A villa with a rustic charm
This charming property is one of the few listings that Chrishell Stause is eyeing for herself as she tries to find a new residence to call home. The four-bedroom property, listed for US$3,699,000, has vaulted ceilings with exposed beams and an open floorplan exposed in natural light. The cosy home also offers an informal and formal living room, a spacious kitchen with marble countertops, and a home office with French doors for privacy.

A luxurious beachfront home
Malibu is where our next luxurious property is located at. With a US$10,995,000 price tag, this beachfront property is on a 2,140 sqft plot. The highlight of the four-bedroom home is its location; the beach is located, quite literally, in the backyard. You can literally fall asleep to the sound of crashing waves in the master bedroom, which is lined with floor-to-glass ceiling windows and balcony doors.
A stylish modern abode with clear glass walls
At nearly US$14 million, this contemporary mansion is one of the most expensive listings showcased in season four. A tour around the property will quickly reveal the reason for its hefty price tag; the single-level five-bedroom property exudes tranquility with its secluded location that also offers a bird’s eye view of the entire Los Angeles city.
To capitalise on the sweeping landscape, clear glass windows are fitted throughout the home, washing the entire 8,290 sqft property in natural daylight. The residence also comes equipped with a pool that stretches around the entire length of the house, a unique wine cellar with glass walls, and other modern facilities.
French Montana’s lavish abode
The first celebrity home this season is rapper French Montana’s estate in Calabasas. The 8,619 sqft private resort-style residence, which once belonged to singer Selena Gomez, boasts six bedrooms, seven bathrooms, and a large courtyard perfect for al-fresco dining and soaking in the Californian sun.
There’s also a unqiue elephant-hedge feature, a gift from Australian rapper Iggy Azalea, and a recording studio that French Montana built for US$350,000, and fitted with equipment worth US$300,000.
The listing, which was given to Mary Fitzgerald, was eventually sold for a cool US$5 million.

Alesso’s minimalist home
Also looking to sell his home for “another one in the Hollywood Hills” is Swedish DJ and record producer Alesso. The 6,587 sqft residence is listed for US$6,495,000, and has six bedrooms and eight bathrooms. Built in 2017, the modern home features a clean white facade that’s paired with clear glass and warm wood. Inside, the lofty space features a sleek black kitchen, a deck off the top level, and a backyard with a swimming pool and sauna.
A Spanish-style home that exudes cosiness
This charming home tucked in Beverly Hills is the former abode of model and media personality Tyra Banks. The 5,740 sqft Spanish-style property is filled with wide hallways, cosy alcoves, and vaulted wood-beamed ceilings. Travertine stone, wood-planked floors and arched doors throughout the home add a rustic and romantic appeal. The draw of the home is the spacious and lush landscaped grounds, where one will also find an outdoor kitchen, swimming pool and fire pit.
A sprawling home with enviable views
This four-storey 9,297 sqft property impressed all of the real estate agents on the show for good reason. The six-bedroom, eight-bathroom residence is designed for indoor-outdoor living with plenty of sliding doors ensuring the seamless transitions between the exterior and interior spaces.
Warm wood, stone and marble create a contemporary interior, while large windows in almost every room look out to the mountains beyond. An expansive rooftop area, which comes equipped with a full kitchen, built-in grill, bar area as well as several entertaining spaces, is perfect for hosting guests.
A sanctuary connected to the outdoors
Even Marvel heroes need help looking for houses. Shang-Chi star Simu Liu enlisted the help of Stause to search for his dream Hollywood abode. This impressive 5,182 sqft listing that Stause introduces him to belongs to a former gamer, and is on the market for US$9.75 million.
Blurring the lines between indoor and outdoor areas, the open-plan living room draws the eye outwards to the pool and surrounding verdant green foliage. The dining area offers easy entrance to small pockets of garden spaces, and the master bathroom also features sliding doors that allow one to experience soaking in the freestanding bathtub whilst breathing in the fresh air. Natural stone walls and wood flooring add tactile appeal, while the open roof terrace is designed as an alternative communal area for guests to gather and lounge.
Liu ultimately didn’t purchase the abode; as reported in November, he opted to purchase a sleek dwelling in Hollywood Hills for US$5 million instead.
