After her recent split from Shawn Mendes, Señorita hitmaker Camila Cabello is looking to sell her four-bedroom property after living in the abode for more than two years

Soon after her recent break-up with Shawn Mendes, American singer Camila Cabello is looking for a fresh start—the singer recently listed her Los Angeles home on the market for US$3.95 million, according to Top Ten Real Estate Deals. The celebrity couple dated for two years since the summer of 2019 before the amicable split; they briefly lived together in this Los Angeles home during the lockdown period last year, before jetting off to live in Cabello's Miami property.

Located in Hollywood Hills above Los Angeles’ famous Sunset Strip, the 3,579 sq ft property features four bedrooms and four bathrooms that span across three floors. Cabello first purchased the property in April 2019. Built in the 1970s, the home boasts a historical charm that has been updated with modern features. The Mediterranean-style interiors create a resort-like atmosphere that imbues a sense of relaxation.

An ornate wrought-iron front door greets guests at the front of the home. Inside, the interiors feature dark wood details and iron light fixtures, which gives the home its classic look. Unique accents inject the home with character; these include the colourful tiles surrounding the fireplace in the living room and the wall of antique mirrored tiles in the dining room.

The sprawling master bedroom suite, located on the topmost level, is a peaceful respite equipped with a personal fireplace, spacious walk-in closet, as well as a spa-like bathroom with dual sinks and complete with a freestanding bathtub. An additional guest bedroom was converted into a state-of-the-art recording studio for Cabello.

The highlight of the home, however, is the outdoor spaces. Retractable glass doors in the living space lead directly to the backyard and saltwater pool. Al-fresco dining can be enjoyed under a canopy of string lights, while pool beds just a few steps above the area allow one to lounge comfortably. To the side, an outdoor fireplace and large archways create a cosy communal area for relaxing evenings.

High walls, as well as thick foliage and trees shrouding the property, lend a sense of privacy. The home also features a highly advanced security system. An extensive number of cameras and alarms as well as a surround sound and “prewired intercom system” are all installed throughout the property, after Mendes had his Mercedes-Benz G-Class SUV stolen from the driveway earlier this year.

Cabello is not the only celebrity making moves with the property market in the Hollywood Hills area. Rapper Kanye West has also listed his first Hollywood Hills abode on the market for US$3.699 million, while Shang-Chi star Simu Liu recently purchased a Hollywood Hills mansion located in the Mount Olympus neighbourhood for US$5 million.
