1. Philip and Small Laude's Family Home

Architect Ed Calma advised Small Laude on what renovations would be best suited for the new property she was gifted by her mother. In an interview with Tatler Philippines, Laude reveals how serendipitous it was for her and her family to have built such a home. Formerly an empty lot situated next to her previous abode, the locale where her new family home stands was as meaningful to Laude as the home itself (having been the site of a pre-school she used to run in her former years). Full of clean lines and contemporary design, the new home is a mix of sleek Los Angeles charm and the warm tropical verdure of the Philippines.

2. Alice Eduardo's Luxurious Sanctuary

With seven bedrooms across three storeys, Alice Eduardo's palatial home reflects her love for space and light. Designed by Architect Ed Ledesma, the home offers plenty of homey accents including Eduardo's favourite narra tree finishings. Decorated by fantastic art pieces such as paintings by Jose Joya and Ang Kiukok, Eduardo's abode also boasts of a private wine cellar, personal beauty salon, and an impressive cascade wall to remind her of the ocean.

A weekend getaway has been essential for Donnie and Crickette Tantoco, the couple at the helm of Rustan Commercial Corporation. Located in Alabang, the couple's family home is representative of each of their personalities: with a private dance studio for Donnie, a communal dressing room for twin daughters Nicole and Camille, and a spacious kitchen and garden area for Crickette.

Though the lot itself is only 500 square metres—relatively modest especially when the world "luxury" is thrown about—it has become a canvas for the architects to prove themselves.
