1. A sage green kitchen

Designed by French interior designer Dorothée Simon, the colour scheme of this open-plan kitchen is inspired by the intricate glasswork of the bow window within the Parisian apartment. The cabinetry, as well as the entryway located in the kitchen, are all clad in a striking sage green hue.

The designer also used green marble for the kitchen backsplash and countertops as well as the linear shelves in order to add visual interest to the monochromatic look. Brass elements, such as sink fittings and light fixtures from British designer Tom Dixon, pull the space together.

“I enjoy combining materials in all of my projects,” says Simon. “The brass finishes alongside the green brought a depth of tone to the apartment and a proper dynamism.”
