Chinese New Year is right around the corner—so it’s time to make the most of the festivities, from stocking up on red packets and buying Chinese New Year puddings, to booking a staycation and an indulgent meal. But any Chinese New Year celebration won't be complete without flowers. Due to the ongoing social distancing restrictions in Hong Kong, the annual Flower Market is cancelled, but that doesn’t mean you can’t get your hands on some of the best flowers from various florists all around Hong Kong.
Whether you’re looking for luck in the love department, a boost in your career or more important than ever, good health, there’s a certain type of flower you should get. We sought the help of two experts, floral artist Emily Wong of Floristy by Art of Living and Feng Shui designer, Thierry Chow on what flowers are the best to buy depending on what type of luck you need.
