One highlight is the TwistFlush toilet: an innovative, water-saving flushing system that employs the physical force exerted by a controlled water vortex to thoroughly rinse the entire inner surface of the toilet bowl. Two nozzles fitted below the seat of the toilet channel a powerful swirl of water that carries waste away without splashing, excessive noise, or the need for repeated flushing. The force generated also means less water is used per flush: the toilet needs just 4.5 litres of water for a large flush, and three litres for a small flush.
According to Villeroy & Boch, this feature means the toilet could save the average four-person household about 19,700 litres of water every year. The toilet is also available with the brand’s CeramicPlus surface, which ensures optimum hygiene and cleanliness, and AntiBac surface technology to inhibit the growth of bacteria.

There’s nothing like a soothing soak in a bathtub; taking a bath has also been proven to provide various health benefits such as a better night’s sleep, relief for sore muscles and improved blood flow. Villeroy & Boch’s Subway 3.0 bathtubs are made of Quaryl, a mixture of ground natural quartz and sanitary acrylic that is a proprietary innovation.
This material is a breeze to clean due to its non-porous and completely smooth surface, and augments the bathtub’s nuanced lines and slim edges with its brilliant sheen; Quaryl is also highly resistant to scratches and colour fading. Reduced edges and a depth of 48cm result in more space in the bathtubs for maximum comfort, while the ergonomic backrest ensures a cosy recline.
Other features include an elongated overflow and a low rim height of 10 mm. Whirlpool variants are also available, allowing for utter relaxation in the form of invigorating body massages.
