An equine-themed home item edit to welcome the Year of the Fire Horse

A considered edit of equine-inspired home objects that channel strength, movement and refined craftsmanship for the Year of the Fire Horse

Long regarded as a symbol of strength, movement and nobility, the horse has occupied a singular place in art, culture and design across civilisations. As we welcome the Year of the Fire Horse, this home edit reflects the animal’s enduring appeal through objects that translate equine power into form, material and craftsmanship.

From legacy luxury houses with deep equestrian heritage such as Hermès, limited edition haute sculptures like Baccarat’s Olympus Pegasus and iconic design statements like Moooi’s Horse Lamp, realised at a striking 1:1 scale, to quirky pieces made of vintage tea caddies and playful imageries like Gangzai’s zebra tray, these pieces explore the horse not as ornament, but as presence. A spirited curation to mark the Year of the Fire Horse.
