Friends of Tatler Homes were invited to discover the beauty of Danish design at the Bolia flagship showroom in Singapore
The Scandinavian design style has a perennial appeal; it is known for its cosy, minimalist and yet timeless aesthetic, and Bolia does this effortlessly. Founded in 2000, the Danish furniture brand has undertaken numerous creative collaborations with international designers, and produces eco-conscious furniture collections mindful of its environmental impact.
Last week, friends of Tatler Homes had the chance to explore the Bolia flagship showroom during a tropical-themed cocktails and canapes session, to see the inspiring home decor pieces in person and uncover the wonderful delight of the versatile and elegant Scandinavian style.

During the event, guests gathered home styling tips from design director Shermaine Maena Ong of Mosh Interior. She shared practical advice on how to personalise an interior space, while explaining the decorative decisions behind the furnishings displayed at the Bolia showroom. These include a living room area that features the Bolia Latch coffee table by Singapore design firm Dazingfeelsgood and the plush Bolia Cosima sofa by German design studio Kaschkasch.
Ong also led guests to the showroom’s atelier section, where homeowners can pick material options for their customisable furnishings. The designer then shared how to create a mood and depth with colours, materials, and textures using the brand’s range of fabrics, swatches, and finishes.
Tatler friends also had the opportunity to bring home special gifts for the evening: bespoke floral arrangements housed in Bolia vases with the guidance of Brenda Lee, founder of premium florist studio Fiore Dorato. The guests also enjoyed a delectable array of canapes and cocktails, as well as a botanical-themed grazing table spread presented by local luxury caterer Gastrogig.
