To celebrate the newest batch of Tatler Gen.T Leaders of Tomorrow from Malaysia, we hosted a sit-down dinner party at the Gordon Ramsay Bar & Grill. Here are the highlights of the night
On June 19, Tatler Gen.T celebrated its newest cohort of Gen.T Leaders of Tomorrow with an exclusive dinner event at the Gordon Ramsay Bar & Grill in Sunway Resort Hotel, Subang Jaya. The gathering marked a significant milestone in recognising Malaysia’s most promising young leaders shaping the future across various industries.
More than 60 guests attended the event, including 2024 honourees musician Belle Sisoski, award-winning filmmaker Jared Lee, tech founder Ooi Boon Sheng and associate professor Ho Weang Kee. With Gen.T’s focus on building community, previous year honourees like Datuk Nicol Ann David, Shin Tseng, Khairun Nisa Zabidi and Justin Chan also joined the festivities and networking.
Industry veterans and experts who worked with our editorial team to put together the list also attended this year’s Gen.T Leaders of Tomorrow event. Affectionately called the Tribe, they include Dato’ Dr. Hartini Zainudin, Bikesh Lakhmichand, Adlin Yusman and Jenifer Kuah.
Additionally, we welcomed Tatler Asia chairman and CEO Michel Lamunière, Tatler Malaysia’s managing director Geraldine Beh and editor-in-chief Lynette Ow at the event.
The event was made possible thanks to official car sponsor Chery Malaysia. The automaker showcased its latest vehicles, the Tiggo 8 Pro and Omoda E5, in the lobby of the hotel and provided guests with an opportunity to appreciate the brand’s newest offerings. Chery Malaysia chauffeured esteemed honourees to the event, ensuring they arrived in style and comfort.

At the start of the event, Tatler Malaysia’s head of events Shida Mahadi welcomed the guests before Beh took the stage to deliver her opening remarks. This was followed by Malaysia’s Gen.T editor Chong Jinn Xiung who introduced the Gen.T brand and highlighted upcoming initiatives.
Later, Chong invited Dinesh Ratnam, Gen.T honouree from 2024, on stage for an engaging fireside chat on being an agile leader and how he transitioned between different industries. The Gen.T honouree made the switch from working in investment banking to leading a major streaming service and now helming one of the biggest music labels in the country.
