Cover Gen.T and The Macallan invite the 2022 honouress for an intimate dinner to share their inspirations to move forward

What are the inspirations and motivations of our future leaders to move forward from the challenges of the past years? This was the topic of the night during an exclusive dinner organised by Gen.T and The Macallan

Gen.T list 2022 honourees gathered for an intimate night of exceptional whiskies paired with delectable food, and productive exchanges hosted by The Macallan and Gen.T.

On October 27, existing and new members of the Gen.T community came together at Shangri-La The Fort, Manila for “Forward Thinking,” an exclusive dinner designed for guests to discuss what inspires and motivates them during challenging times.

Crystal Gonzalez, CEO and co-founder of Pick A Roo, shared what inspires her: “Definitely my kids, I am a mom of three. Every day they are the ones who really light up my life... They're the best stress reliever... quite expensive,” she quipped to the laughter of the audience. “But definitely worth it!”

ER Rollan, the CEO of Growsari and a recipient of this year's Gen.T x Credit Suisse's Social Impact Awards, shared that he is deeply inspired by his co-honourees, “This group of people is really moving the agenda of the country forward—that's quite inspiring!” However, Rollan felt that the Filipinos deserve more, “At the same time, I wish there's more of us in this room. I feel like the Philippines is getting less than the attention it deserves, relative to the impact we can make [on] the world.”
