The Macallan introduces a limited range of single malts in The Macallan 2022 M Collection
To say that The Macallan commits to quality would be an understatement. Based in Scotland and founded in 1824, the distillery creates top-of-the-line single-malt whiskys guided by its six pillars namely: the spiritual home, curiously small stills, the finest cut, exceptional oak casks, natural colour and peerless spirit.
The spiritual home pays homage to the Macallan family’s highland estate, built in 1700. Here, they make use of their vast land to cultivate their own barley and the bordering river for water. the distiller likewise makes use of curiously small stills to maintain the robust flavours of the spirit and only uses the finest cut of their final distillation. Exceptional Spanish and American oak casks that are carefully crafted and seasoned allow the whiskies to mature and play a part in the natural colour the spirit maintains. Master distillers then sample a variety of casks to ensure that each one preserves a peerless spirit.
