The Fil-A-O-Fish is a collaborative effort between burger expert Alvin Cailan of the hit Youtube series The Burger Show and Made Nice chefs Raul Forés and Jack Flores. Crafted with cod fillet, tartar sauce, and cheddar, the simple but timeless fish sandwich had gourmands flocking to the restaurant as soon as it launched in 2023, and it continues to be a favourite today.

3. 8Cuts Burgers
This pescetarian-friendly sandwich may not use any of the restaurant’s signature eight cuts of beef, but it’s been known to seduce carnivores just the same. The 8Cuts Fish ‘Wich layers a crunchy white fish fillet, crisp cabbage slaw, and lime-dill mayo between two hot buns, which is a simple but thoughtful sandwich with a touch of zing.

Located in San Juan City, this small family-run sandwich shop has blown up over the past few months, with many travelling from far and wide to get their hands on their viral sandwiches. The halibut sandwich from 717 Deli has become a crowd-favourite, with good reason. Made with a beer-battered halibut fillet, cheddar, and tartar sauce, it’s an unfussy but well-executed treat that you’ll crave for time and again.
