At the heart of this collaboration is José Gordón, the mind behind Bodega El Capricho. Coined by some as the Picasso of Meat or the Godfather of Steak, Gordón’s approach to beef is nothing short of artistry, prioritising meticulous cattle selection, holistic animal care, and expert dry-ageing techniques.
This dedication to the craft has not gone unnoticed, earning Gordón the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award from World's Best Steak Restaurants.
His restaurant, nestled in a cave in León, Spain has earned rightful spots on the bucket lists of steak enthusiasts globally, with diners flocking to the site of the world’s best steak, according to the documentary Steak Revolution.
