This year, Thanksgiving falls on Thursday, November 24 and restaurants across the city are cooking up festive feasts to inspire grateful thoughts as you celebrate the bounty of this year's harvest. From whole roast turkey with all the trimmings to decadent pies and more to mark the occasion, this is how to celebrate Thanksgiving in Hong Kong.

The Argentinian steakhouse is hosting its annual Thanksgiving feast (HK$888 per guest) for lunch and dinner in which an indulgent spread is laid out for sharing. A smoked turkey with pork sausage and roasted chestnut stuffing will be served with generous portions of provoleta mac ‘n’ cheese, brussel sprouts with bacon, and whipped mashed potatoes with garlic. The meal finishes on a sweet note with a choice of pumpkin or banana cream pie.

Presenting holiday specials inspired by the Southern states for dine-in guests, Henry is hosting Thanksgiving from November 24 to 26 with la carte dishes including oyster rockefeller (HK$358/six pieces); lobster bisque (HK$228); herb roasted turkey (HK$658) with cranberry relish, cornbread tasso ham stuffing and turkey gravy; smoked prime rib (HK$898); and a pumpkin cheesecake (HK$138).

For those planning a Thanksgiving feast at home, Henry is also offering a grill-ready BBQ set (HK$1,998) filled with a selection of the butcher’s finest offerings. This includes the likes of 44 Farms ribeye and NY strip, Berkwood Farms baby back ribs, whole marinated chicken, dry-aged beef burger patties, vegetables, pickles and Henry's BBQ and hot sauces. You can also upgrade the set with a bottle of Château Sainte-Marguerite, Symphonie, Côtes-de-Provence Rosé for HK$420.

Available for both dine-in (HK$448 per person; 24 November only) and takeaway (HK$408 per person; November 24-26), Percy's is celebrating Thanksgiving with a spread of holiday classics such as 12-hour brined roasted turkey carved and served with homemade rosemary gravy and cranberry sauce. This comes with sides including mushroom and sausage stuffing, mashed potatoes, sweet potato with spiced pecans, and brussels sprouts with swordfish bacon, before finishing with spiced pumpkin pie.

For dine-in customers, a two-hour free-flow package (+HK$268 per person) is also available with sparkling, white or red wine, house spirits and beer. Takeaway can be collected from 2pm to 6pm and delivery is available upon request; 48 hours advance notice is required for all orders.

Quiero Más is hosting a Thanksgiving dinner (HK$488 per person) with a modern Mediterranean spin. Available from November 24 to 26, the set menu features the likes of Iberian acorn-fed ham shoulder with classic toasted tomato bread, beef carpaccio with black truffle and manchego cheese, and king crab and caviar montadito to start. The main event follows in the form of wood-roasted turkey alongside Quiero Más's interpretations of stuffing, mashed potatoes, brussels sprouts with pancetta and much more. To finish, both pumpkin and pecan pie are served to the table with vanilla ice cream.

Think cranberry sauce, rosemary gravy, whipped mashed potatoes, roasted green bean casserole, and cheddar mac ‘n’ cheese, followed by pumpkin and banana cream pie. Four Seasons makes Thanksgiving effortless with turkey sets and festive pies available at their eshop. Perfect for feeding a group of six to eight people, the roast turkey set (HK$3,280) comes with six side dishes including brussels sprouts, glazed chestnuts, truffle sausage and apple sourdough stuffing, and more. Desserts are sold separately with pecan pie (HK$506), pumpkin tart (HK$462) and a chocolate and marshmallow pie (HK$462) to choose from.

Two of Lan Kwai Fong's popular dining venues are offering a Thanksgiving feast for takeaway this season. The set (HK$2,200) is available from November 23 to 27 from Porterhouse Seafood & Steak and Baci Trattoria & Bar. Made to share, the feast features a slow-roasted whole organic turkey with pickled lemon and cranberry sauce, as well as side dishes such as brussels sprouts, French beans with shallot dressing, and garlic chilli broccoli.

Offering a festive meal to take home for the holidays, Woolly Pig Hong Kong is bringing back its turkey takeaway set (HK$2,100) made for 6 or 7 people. The Thanksgiving feast includes a brined and herb-smoked whole turkey from France, sourdough gravy and plum and cranberry sauce, along with side dishes such as mashed potatoes, pork, apple, and sage stuffing, jalapeño cornbread pudding and more. Dessert comes in the form of burnt pumpkin cheesecake and bite-sized pecan pies. An optional add-on for a bottled bourbon apple pie cocktail (HK$800) comes with the recipe and ingredients to make up to 14 cocktails.

The Baker & The Bottleman has released a new seasonal pastry item for Thanksgiving. The almond and apple tart (HK$650/10-inch) is available from November 23 to 27 (11am to 7pm) in limited amounts with only 10 tarts baked per day. Filled with caramelised apples and almond cream, the tart is then glazed with apricot jam and sprinkled with cinnamon
