The dinners: four nights, three collaborations

July 10 to 11: From Penang to Hong Kong, a celebration of heritage at Ming Pavilion
Chef Johnson Wong of Gēn (Penang) brings his refined take on Malaysian-Chinese cuisine to chef Lam Yeung’s modern interpretation of Hokkien cooking. Together, they’ll present an eight-course dinner at Ming Pavilion that celebrates heritage, technique and the soulful simplicity of regional ingredients.

July 11 to 12: A sky-high, six-hands experience at Petrus
Three chefs, three perspectives: Jitin Joshi of Revolver (Singapore), Jimmy Lim of JL Studio (Taichung) and Uwe Opocensky of Restaurant Petrus (Hong Kong) craft a six-hands tasting menu that blends progressive Indian grill, modern Singaporean innovation and contemporary French finesse. Set in the elegant surrounds of Island Shangri-La with panoramic harbour views, this dinner offers a dynamic culinary conversation.

July 12 to 13: A Parisian revival at Lobster Bar and Grill
Brasserie Astoria (Singapore), the grand sibling of Björn Frantzén’s empire, teams up with Lobster Bar and Grill for a duo of events. On July 12, a dinner of French brasserie classics reimagined with flair; on July 13, a relaxed yet refined brunch, a first for the Tatler Best Takeover Series, that brings together Astoria’s old-world elegance and the fresh spirit of Lobster Bar.
