Sip on avocado coffees and the signature Kenangan Latte at the Singapore outlet of Indonesia’s fastest-growing coffee chain

Coffee aficionados will have something new to drink soon, as Indonesian coffee chain Kenangan Coffee is set to open its first store in Singapore at Raffles City before the end of September. Having just attained unicorn status with a $1 billion valuation earlier this year, the Singapore outlet is the latest in the coffee chain’s global expansion plans after launching in Malaysia last year.

With 800 outlets across 60 cities in Indonesia and five outlets in Malaysia, many have become ardent fans of Kenangan Coffee, which maintains relationships with producers in Java and Sumatra to obtain high quality Arabica beans, and tastes coffee samples thrice before the beans are even roasted. The result is addictive cups of coffee like the signature Kenangan Latte, made with its own unique blend of beans. The coffee chain is also known for its avocado coffee, which borrows from the fruit an added creaminess and a welcome earthiness to regular coffee.

While menu details are not yet released, expect non-coffee drinks to include an ice-blended mango yuzu or the hibiscus yuzu berry, both of which are available at outlets in Malaysia. Satisfy your chocolate cravings with the 100% iced chocolate drink, or indulge in the “Milo Dinosaur Kaw”, featuring a heap of Milo powder that delights with its concentrated malty, chocolate goodness.

So confident is Kenangan Coffee that another outlet is already set to open in Changi Airport in the coming weeks. Keep your eyes peeled for updates on this new addition to the coffee scene.
