Ralph Lauren’s latest café concept sits right next to its new retail store at Marina Bay Sands, serving up quality coffee and classic American desserts
There’s a new, cool coffee spot in town, one that fashion aficionados and café-hoppers can’t stop thinking about. Ralph’s Coffee, Ralph Lauren’s first café concept in Singapore, is nestled right beside the new retail space for its most premium label, Ralph Lauren Purple, in Marina Bay Sands.
The café is not hard to spot, with its signature storefront sign—a backlit giant green cup—hanging at the window. As you walk in, a life-sized Polo Bear in an apron greets you at the door, an adorable rendition of the American luxury brand’s iconic teddy bear. The café is small and cozy, offering only three small tables and a convenient corridor leading to the retail space. With dark teal furnishings, brass accents and intricate dark green and white tiling, Ralph’s Coffee brings you into Ralph Lauren’s vision of the American dolce vita, evoking both the quiet luxury of his clothes and the relaxed atmosphere of the brand's Fifth Avenue flagship in New York.

Coffee and tea
One of the main highlights is definitely Ralph’s Roast, its specialty blend designed specially as a drip coffee. Sourced organically from Central and South America, the resulting cup of joe is bold and aromatic, flowing nicely on the palate. The sea salt caramel latte is another standout, complex without being too sweet. But for a taste of something truly one of a kind, opt for the Singapore-exclusive pineapple shaken tea, a refreshing drink that brings out the flavours of the tropics.

Soft serve and small bites
Classic American desserts at Ralph’s are not to be missed, with soft-serve ice cream, brownies and cakes such as the blueberry streusel loaf cake, or richer slices such as cheesecake and coconut cake. And for those who are looking for a nostalgic taste of childhood, the peanut butter and jam cookie is a fun snack, as is the unapologetically indulgent red velvet cookie. If you need something a little more substantial, don't forget about the savoury options, which include scrambled egg and cured ham sandwiches.
