Amber & Baccarat Present A Bespoke Dining Experience

Live it up in the lap of luxury with fine dinnerware and haute cuisine at the Amber x Baccarat Bespoke Dinner Experience, taking place from August 10 to 15. Held in one of three private dining rooms in the two-Michelin-starred restaurant, this dinner series presents chef Richard Ekkebus' rarefied cuisine upon Baccarat's elegant Harcourt and Mille Nuits collections. Expect dishes incorporating premium ingredients like Kristal Schrenki caviar, amberjack, blue lobster and grass-fed Galician tenderloin, all of which will be delicately plated on Baccarat crystalware.

"In Amber, we always focus on all the details to create remarkable dining experiences," says Ekkebus. "The collaboration with Baccarat has offered an opportunity to enjoy a bespoke menu customised on the exclusive Baccarat crystalware, rendering a truly a unique, one-weekly only, dining experience.”

Mother Pearl Opens In Quarry Bay

While its pop-up at The Upper House is still ongoing, vegan bubble tea purveyor Mother Pearl is set to open its second permanent location in Quarry Bay, in addition to its first flagship in Soho, Central. Setting up shop on Tong Chong Street, Mother Pearl will debut four new bubble tea drinks to mark the occasion. These include the vitamin-rich Kiss In Pink (pink lemonade, rhubarb, lemon, monkfruit sugar, ginger, alkaline water, nata de coco), and the detoxing Garden of Eden which combines a 12-hour cold brew Orchid Tieguanyin tea with alkaline water, fresh fruits, herbs and collagen-packed ice cubes featuring a Kapowder Saviour biotin blend.

Get your fix of cleansing bubble tea drinks on August 12 when Mother Pearl will be throwing a grand opening bash—free vegan cookies will be given out on a first come, first served basis.

Miss Lee Debuts New Vegetarian Dishes

Those looking for a creative and modern take on Chinese vegetarian cuisine will want to reserve a space at Miss Lee to try their new a la carte dishes for the summer. Clocking in at a total of 15 new additions, diners can chow down on guilt-free appetisers like celtuce and king oyster mushroom salad, and the moreish homemade scallion pancake with vegan cheese; or filling, meat-free mains such as the beef wellington-inspired taro and yam puff pastry, and the Shanghai rice cakes with slow-cooked cherry tomato sauce. Lastly, the almond tea panna cotta rounds each meal off with a sweet and light touch.

Eaton Hotel To Hand Out 500 Free Meals

Eaton Hotel's resident food hall is set to welcome three new food concepts, and to celebrate these recent arrivals, it will be giving away 500 free meals to the public this August 16. To thank the community and mark the addition of steak and fries specialist The Meat Co., South American churrería Twist & Buckle, and Japanese noodle outlet Katsuo Udon to the mix, eight of the food hall's tenants will be sponsoring a giveaway for 500 mouths on a first come, first served basis from 7pm onwards. Accompanying this will be free craft beer from Yau, dance performances and a DJ playlist of Cantopop. Those who upload a photo of the event will also be entered into a lucky draw for the chance to win a staycation at Eaton Hotel, plus a HK$1,000 dining voucher.

Page Common Plays Host To Saturday Morning Bagel Pop-Up

Best known for its melty tiramisu, Page Common is giving cafe-hoppers another reason to visit this month with the arrival of bagel specialists Saturday Morning as part of a mini pop-up. Two new dishes are on offer: the scrambled eggs with bacon jam pizza bagel, which features a crispy bagel bun with chorizo toppings, sandwiching a core of fluffy scrambled eggs, bacon, cheese and dried tomatoes; plus the pillowy yuzu egg roll, delivering a summery combo of yuzu cake, yuzu cream and lemon jelly.

The Saturday Morning pop-up runs alongside the new Kapok retail corner in the Page148 hotel lobby, which brings the eclectic lifestyle boutique's product curation to this corner of Kowloon.
