Whether in terms of gastronomical experiences or gourmet gifts, EQ Kuala Lumpur is going all out when it comes to Lunar New Year offerings this 2024. For the Year of the Dragon, the luxury hotel’s Chinese restaurant Golden Phoenix is making a comeback from January 28 to February 24, 2024.

Available for both lunch and dinner are seven celebratory set menus, ranging from accessible in price to luxury offerings that will impress even the most well-eaten guests. The most gourmet set features Australian lobster yee sang, baked Boston lobster, braised abalone, steamed grouper, traditional roast duck and more gastronomical creations.

The aforementioned yee sang, a must-have at any Chinese New Year gathering, is one of six varieties of yee sang available at the hotel. Other combinations include Alaskan crabs and Hokkaido scallops, crispy whitebait and soft-shell crab, or Boston lobster.

Vegetarians need not fret, as plant-based set menus are also available, just as well-executed as the meat-based counterparts.
