Think of Chilean wines and iconic winery Don Melchor immediately springs to mind. Its vineyard, Viña Don Melchor, sits on the foothills of the Andes mountains in the Puelto Alto region, and its sublime climate and terroir are expressed through its award-winning pours.

One of these is the Don Melchor Vintage 2020, crafted by winemaker Enrique Tirado using a blend of cabernet sauvignon, cabernet franc, merlot and petit verdot. It’s a superb wine with a deep violet hue and luscious aromas of red fruits, violets and roses. It is deeply complex too, with a lush body and velvety texture, as well as a long and persistent finish.

Don Melchor Vintage 2020 is available at select retailers in Singapore.

Explore the Barossa Valley in Australia with the limited-edition Penfolds  Barossa Explorer pack. Each set comes with the winery’s iconic Bin 138 Barossa Valley Shiraz Grenache 2018 and Bin 150 Marananga Shiraz 2018.

Medium-bodied, rich and perfumed, Bin 138 is an assemblage of shiraz and grenache sourced from old Barossa vines. The Bin 150, made from shiraz, hails from the ancient soils of Marananga in Barossa Valley and has a dark fruit profile and rich tannins.

Penfolds Barossa Valley Explorer pack is available at select retailers in Singapore.

Marques de Casa Concha Heritage 2020

Marques de Casa Concha Heritage 2020 is another noteworthy Chilean wine. Winemaker Marcelo Papa created it with cabernet sauvignon, cabernet franc and petit verdot grown in the Puelto Alto region. This bold wine is the ideal match to grilled or braised meats, thanks to its tannic structure, silky texture and lush characters of cherries, blackberries and black currants.

Marques de Casa Concha Heritage 2020 is available at select retailers in Singapore.
