Above Hennessy Dame Jeanne

Hennessy Dame Jeanne

Hennessy presents its rarest blend in an extremely limited series crafted to reflect the definition of French savoir-faire in its variation of the Hennessy Dame Jeanne.

For over two and a half centuries, the Hennessy and Fillioux families have worked hand-in-hand to select, preserve and protect an exquisite library of the most exceptional eaux-de-vie in the Founder’s Cellar. And eighth-generation Hennessy master blender Renaud Filliouxde Gironde has crafted the most precious blend considered to be a unique tribute to his predecessors.

The selection of eaux-de-vie used is luxurious in its age, with a sophisticated and flawless structure, characteristically designed to produce this unique cognac, which is priced at RM2.6 million for the 10-litre Dame Jeanne bottle.

Martell Dame-Jeanne 1968

No, you’re not seeing double, Martell too has released its own Dame-Jeanne, one of the four rare and exceptional eaux-de-vie to be bottled by Martell under the ultra-prestigious Dame-Jeanne Collection.

Essentially, Dame-Jeanne refers to the glass container in which the eaux-de-vie is stored—it’s usually a large bottle with a narrow neck. Only the rarest and most precious eaux-de-vie aged within Martell’s cellars for decades, in fine-grained oak barrels that protect the delicacy of their aromas, are used to craft the premium bottling. Once cellar master Christophe Valtaud judges these eaux-de-vie to have reached their aromatic maturity, they are then transferred into Dame-Jeannes that preserve their qualities intact over time.

The 11-litre Martell Dame-Jeanne 1968 is limited to 11 sets globally, with one exclusive bottle having made its way to our shores, and sold for close to RM500,000.

Tales of The Macallan Volume 1

The Macallan has released Tales of The Macallan Volume I, the first edition in a remarkable new series of distinguished and rare single malt Scotch whiskies which tells the story of The Macallan pioneers and their whisky-making legacy.

Tales of The Macallan Volume I, The Laird of Easter Elchies (1659–1715) is an homage to Captain John Grant, the man who in 1700 realised the potential of Easter Elchies Estate—the site that has been home to The Macallan Distillery since 1824.

The precious nectar of Tales of The Macallan is crafted by lead whisky maker Sarah Burgess, using liquid distilled in 1950 and bottled in 2021—making this a distinctive and rare expression with exceptional flavour and character.

Housed in a bespoke Lalique crystal decanter, the bottle is exquisitely concealed in a leather-bound book embellished with 24-carat gold leaf, created by traditional book-binders in London. It is limited to 350 decanters worldwide, and costs more than RM450,000.

Johnnie Walker Masters of Flavour

This exceptional Scotch is crafted from the finest maturing whiskies in the Johnnie Walker reserves, where all of the whiskies used to create Johnnie Walker Masters of Flavour are aged for at least 48 years.

For the 48 Year Old Masters release, Jim Beveridge, the brand’s master blender, worked closely with his team of expert whisky makers to hand select fleetingly rare expressions from the shuttered, legendary “ghost” distilleries of Glyn Albyn, Port Dundas, Brora and Glenury Royal, balancing them perfectly together with the iconic distilleries of Cameronbridge, Blair Athol and Dalwhinnie.

Presented in a striking green Baccarat crystal decanter within a bespoke oak cabinet, there are only 288 bottles globally and four bottles released in Malaysia. Retailing at RM126,500, this extremely limited-run whisky marks the third and final release of a remarkable trilogy.
