Mark your calendar for Jakarta Cocktail Week on 24–28 November for international guest shifts, masterclasses, nightcaps, and a one-day Cocktail Village.
There is no better time to experience Jakarta than right now. If you are planning a trip to the capital, time it between November 24 and 28, 2026. Over these five days, the inaugural Jakarta Cocktail Week (JCW) makes its debut as Indonesia’s first city-wide, cocktail festival, drawing regional tastemakers, travelling palates, and industry leaders directly into the capital’s finest drinking dens.
Conceived by industry-led committee of local bar proprietors and hospitality veterans, JCW reflects a capital in motion. Jakarta’s urban audiences have moved decisively towards experience-led dining. The festival establishes a permanent, annual stage to nurture the next generation of Indonesian bartenders while embedding the metropolis on the international bar trail.
“Jakarta has developed an incredibly exciting cocktail scene, with talented bartenders and bars that deserve greater international recognition,” notes Stefanie Wijono, JCW organising committee member and deputy marketing & PR director at The Union Group. “We believe this is the right moment to bring the industry together and create something that represents Jakarta as a whole.”

The festivity begins on Tuesday, November 24, at The Gunawarman, powered by a Bangkok triumvirate: Dicky Hartono (Firefly), Ryan Dela Vega (Aqua Bar), and Niks Anuman (G.O.D). Over the ensuing four evenings (November 25–28), 20 guest bars from nine Asian cocktail hubs—spanning Hong Kong, Tokyo, Singapore, Seoul, and Ho Chi Minh City—will commandeer counters across the city. Each night focuses on a single neighbourhood, allowing guests to walk or ride between shifts effortlessly. Evenings conclude with industry nightcaps at quintessential local haunts: Jaya Pub on November 25, Bottom Parlour on November 26, and Duckdown Bar on November 27.
