To celebrate the festive season 2024, Moët & Chandon hosted an exquisite dinner party at Whitespace Manila

The event featured a curated dining experience designed to complement the iconic flavours of the champagne house. The venue, which accommodates 400 people, was transformed into an intimate candlelit setting, with a single long table seating 40 guests. White drapings adorned the sides of the room, and a white grand piano quietly waited in the corner to be played. Upon entering the aptly named Silk Cave, guests were welcomed with a glass of bubbly and enjoyable company. Notable figures from the worlds of fashion, cinema, sports, and gastronomy, including Michelle Dee, Max Collins, Bianca Gonzalez Intal, and chefs Josh Boutwood and Chele González, attended the event. The dinner began with a welcome speech by Patricia Puentevella-Molina, Marketing Manager, and Nick Sonderup, General Manager of Moët Hennessy Southeast Asia Emerging Markets.

The champagne and food pairing began with Moët & Chandon Brut Imperial, served alongside a selection of dishes: sea urchin with shrimp and apple ceviche paired with clam cream and caviar, tuna tataki accompanied by a smoked salmon sauce, or goat cheese and mushroom duxelles in croustade. The celebration continued with Moët & Chandon Rosé Impérial, which complemented a seared duck breast served with Grand Marnier and cherry compote.

Amid the festivities, a white curtain descended, revealing Filipino soloist Jose Miguel, who captivated attendees with his exquisite vocals. The culinary experience peaked with a US prime ribeye, enhanced by a red wine demi-glace, and perfectly paired with Moët & Chandon Grand Vintage 2015.

To conclude the dinner, guests enjoyed a delightful selection of three desserts: a vanilla macaron de Paris, a red chocolate truffle, and a strawberry shortcake, all accompanied by Moët & Chandon Nectar Imperial.
