Moët & Chandon, a name synonymous with Champagne, hosted an exquisite dinner featuring its holiday edition lineup

The holidays are a reminder to take things slow; to take your time and enjoy the moment. And what better way to do that than with a glass of Champagne with friends? Moët & Chandon hosted an evening for select friends of the house to kick off the festive season. The dinner was attended by notable personalities from the realms of fashion, cinema, sports, and gastronomy, such as Michelle Dee, Max Collins, Bela Padilla, Bianca Gonzalez, Jess Wilson, and Moritz Gastl.

The dinner was an intimate affair decked out with billowing unfurled white curtains draped from the ceiling; it was both stark and imposing. A spread of lit candles gave off a romantic ambience, further setting the tone for the night ahead. As guests took to their seats for their upcoming meal, they were serenaded by a band with smooth vocals by Jose Miguel, whose classic jazz kept the atmosphere upbeat and cheerful.

The main event of the evening was a four-course dinner, with the dishes expertly paired with Moët & Chandon expressions. The dinner started with the champagne house’s icon Moët & Chandon Brut Imperial, partnered with an array of appetisers that bring the freshness and versatility forward on the palate. This included a sea urchin with a generous serving of caviar among others. The Moët & Chandon Rosé Imperial was paired beautifully with seared duck breast with Grand Marnier and a cherry compote, while the Moët & Chandon Grand Vintage 2015 was complemented with a US prime rib-eye steak decked in gold. Lastly, everyone enjoyed a glass of  Moët & Chandon Nectar Imperial paired with desserts. Each glass of Champagne—smooth in texture with a pleasant, sophisticated finish—spoke volumes of the brand's unparalleled expertise in the art of winemaking, which it has cultivated over centuries.
