At the heart of the Bar Pintxos experience is, of course, the food. What makes the new menu items exciting is how they embrace fresh, seasonal ingredients that change with availability. The menu showcases a range of traditional pintxos, the small, flavourful bites that are the cornerstone of Basque dining, but with the innovative twist which this delectable establishment is known for. Dishes like taco Ibérico, smoked cod liver, or anchoa y queso, highlight the kitchen’s dedication to authenticity while delivering a refined flavour profile that caters to Manila’s more adventurous palates.

The taco Ibérico is a crowd favourite with its smoky and surprisingly light flavour, paired with cilantro salsa and served on a toasted flour tortilla. While the anchoa y queso is creamy, salty and addicting. Another new notable dish is the jamon al a Frances, which is jamon and burrata sandwiched between a buttery croissant, then drizzled with honey on top. This is a perfect combination of sweet and salty notes in one bite.

To complement the food, diners can enjoy a carefully curated selection of Spanish wines, including standouts like Bordon D’Anglade Reserva. Its elegant and velvety taste hits just the spot, and it also pairs beautifully with the rich and savoury notes of the pintxos. The restaurant’s beverage menu also features a variety of cocktails and gin and tonics, with options that cater to both traditionalists and those looking for a more contemporary drinking experience. The laid-back yet sophisticated atmosphere encourages diners to linger, whether over a leisurely lunch, a celebratory dinner, or casual after-work drinks with friends.

For the city’s gastronomes and lovers of Spanish fare, this newest addition to the Bar Pintxos family promises not just a meal, but a culinary journey—one that is as rich in history as it is in flavour.
