The American smoothie chain opens at Changi Airport Terminal 1 in mid-June, joining some of the best smoothie joints in Singapore
If the weather has been bringing you down lately, you can always rely on a smoothie to keep you cool. Besides doing wonders for cooling down your body temperature, it supplies you with your daily intake of fibre and antioxidants from the fruits that go into smoothies. Few places do this better than Jamba Juice, the newest American smoothie chain to open its doors at Changi Airport Terminal 1. Projected to open in mid-June, Singaporeans will finally get a taste of the smoothies that smoothie drinkers rave about. Here’s what to expect from the highly anticipated opening, but because it’s not quite time to head to Terminal 1 to satiate your cravings, here are where to find the best smoothies in Singapore in the meantime.

Ubiquitous in the United States, Japan, South Korea and Thailand, Jamba Juice is finally opening an outlet in Singapore. With a grab-and-go concept set to open in mid-June, not many details have been released about its menu details or Singapore signatures, but if the US menu has any indication, we’re in for a refreshing treat.
Take the Açai Super-Antioxidant, a smoothie that jumps on the açai trend. Starting with an açai grape juice blend, ingredients like soy milk, strawberries, blueberries, raspberry sherbet, and a vitamin and zinc boost to make this a truly nutritious smoothie. The Go-Getter is another popular offering, starring matcha green tea with a vegetable and fruit juice blend, mangoes, kale, orange juice, and caffeine for a fruity pick-me-up.
2. Boost
Now synonymous with ultra-refreshing smoothies, Australian-born smoothie joint Boost has quickly become a favourite of Singaporeans, and it’s not hard to see why. Besides fruity smoothies to cool you down like the “Peach Berry Crush”—filled with blueberries, peach, ice mango nectar and sorbet—you’ll find drinks that will fulfill your macros like the “Protein Supreme”, which blends banana in coconut milk and water, honey, and chia, with a dash of cinnamon for spice, muesli for crunch, with whey protein and immunity and vita boosters to boot.
