Loved for its coffee and doughnuts, the brand is planning on opening its first outlet in Singapore later this year

Coffee lovers, get ready as the popular Canadian coffee chain Tim Hortons is about to land in Singapore.

Set to launch later this year, the local outpost will serve up its signature coffee and doughnuts.

This news follows the recent agreement announcement between Japanese trading firm, Marubeni Corporation, and Tim Hortons’ parent company, Restaurant Brands International, to expand throughout Southeast Asia in the next decade—in particular, Singapore, Malaysia, and Indonesia, according to Nikkei Asia.

Currently, Canada’s favourite coffee joint has over 5,000 outlets over the world. That said, this will not be its first foray into Southeast Asia. In fact, the chain opened its first Southeast Asian outlet in the Philippines in 2017 and Thailand in 2020.

While its Singapore menu has yet to be released, we can only anticipate feasting on its indulgent Timbits and aromatic brews soon.
